About Us

About BKA

Black Kids Adventures is a not for profit organization paving the way for Black and Brown families to connect and participate in nature and recreational based outdoor activities.

Serving families across Alabama and beyond, we’re redefining, reimagining and challenging the idea of those that enjoy outdoor activities.

Our Vision

We’re imagining a world where Brown and Black Families never have to second guess

Or wonder, if the outdoors are a place for them. Building on our three pillars, Exposure, Education and Empowerment, Black Kids Adventures is helping families connect in nature and to each other.
